24 Clients received vouchers for the Samaritan program

5 Households (19 persons) receiving Safe Haven vouchers

Staff/Operations 2009 Activity 

 

·        Added two part-time case managers, implementing monthly case management for 50 clients – NEW

·        Passed all HUD/KHC annual compliance checks without findings

·        Increased funding (grant and private)

·        Participated in all Region III Continuum of Care Activities, attending all meetings and conferences

·        Signed KHC Agreement to provide case management for Section 8 recipients – NEW

·        Housing Quality Standards inspections completed on all units

·        All staff Certified to file SSI/SSDI applications through  Stepping Stones to Recovery SOAR Training – NEW

·        All staff Certified in HUD’s HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) data entry – NEW

·        Administered FEMA’s “Emergency Food and Shelter Program” providing emergency shelter motel vouchers and one months rent vouchers – NEW

·        Coordinated HUD annual Point in Time homeless count for Bullitt County, identifying 136 homeless individuals and families during the 24 hour time frame for counting
